Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern your access to and use of the BalloonPlot web platform (balloonplot.com), the BalloonPro desktop application for Windows, and related software, downloads, and APIs (collectively, the "Service"). The Service, software, and website are owned and operated by KARTHIK MADDODI ("Proprietor", "BalloonPlot", "BalloonPlot AI", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account, downloading, installing, subscribing, or operating the software, you enter into a legally binding contract with KARTHIK MADDODI.

1. License Grant & Permitted Use

Subject to compliance with this Agreement and active subscription status, BalloonPlot grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and run the BalloonPro desktop software and use web services for your internal business and manufacturing operations.

You agree not to:

• Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the desktop application or backend APIs.
• Distribute, lease, rent, sublicense, or share license keys with unauthorized third parties or across multiple simultaneous unauthorized workstations.
• Bypass, disable, or tamper with software licensing mechanisms, trial limits, or version enforcement checks.
• Use the Service to construct competing drawing ballooning or automated inspection software.

2. User Accounts & Licensing Keys

To use BalloonPlot, you must register an account using a valid email or authorized Single Sign-On (Google Authentication). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and license keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized account activity.

3. Free Trial Period

New users receive a 7-day complimentary evaluation trial granting access to BalloonPro features. No payment details are required to begin trial usage. Upon expiration of the 7-day period, premium exporting and advanced AI ballooning features will pause until a commercial subscription or perpetual license is activated.

4. Subscriptions, Payments, Taxes & Cancellations

• Merchant Identity: All commercial orders, invoices, and payment receipts are issued under the legal name KARTHIK MADDODI (Sole Proprietor of BalloonPlot).
• Recurring Billing: Paid subscriptions (monthly or annual) automatically renew at the start of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal.
• Payment Processing: Transactions are handled securely via authorized payment gateway partners including Cashfree Payments (Cashfree Payments India Private Limited for INR payments via UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking) and Dodo Payments (for USD/international payments). BalloonPlot does not store card numbers or sensitive banking credentials.
• Goods and Services Tax (GST) Notice: The merchant (KARTHIK MADDODI) is an individual proprietor operating below the annual turnover threshold required for mandatory registration under the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Act, 2017. As such, the merchant is currently not registered under GST. No GST is charged or collected on sales, and no GST input tax credit (ITC) is applicable. All listed prices are net and final.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing cycle, and you will retain access through that date.
• Refunds: Because we provide a full, unrestricted 7-day trial prior to purchase, software subscription fees are generally non-refundable once billed, except where required by law.

BalloonPlot AI and BalloonPro are productivity software tools created to assist manufacturing engineers and quality inspectors in generating ballooned drawings and inspection plans. While our algorithms provide automated detection of dimensions and GD&T symbols:

• The software does not replace certified professional quality control personnel.
• Manufacturing organizations remain strictly responsible for reviewing, verifying, and signing off on all final inspection packages, dimensional balloon numbers, and AS9102 Form 3 compliance documents before parts enter production or flight service.

7. Software Updates & Version Enforcement

We routinely deliver software updates, feature enhancements, and security patches. To ensure data integrity, compatibility with cloud synchronization, and compliance with anti-tamper standards, older client versions may periodically require mandatory updates to continue communicating with licensing servers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BalloonPlot AI and its proprietor KARTHIK MADDODI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including loss of manufacturing profits, assembly line delays, scrap material costs, or business interruption) arising out of or related to the use or inability to use the software. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the total amounts actually paid by you to BalloonPlot in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and revoke license keys that engage in fraudulent behavior, attempt software piracy, or violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

10. Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Merchant Information

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any disputes or claims arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
